This policy explains what personal information Servlec Pty Ltd (ABN 23 654 593 307) collects, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to quote and do your job, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or book a job, by phone, email or the form on this website, we may collect:

your name, phone number and email address
your suburb and postcode, and the address of the job
details about the work you need, and any photos you send us (for example of your switchboard, roof or meter box)
information we need to complete the job and its paperwork, such as details of your property and electricity connection

Information collected by this website

Like most websites, our site and the services that run it automatically receive basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type. This helps keep the site working and secure.

The site uses essential cookies so it works properly. We don’t use advertising cookies.
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person, not a spam robot, is sending it.
Our reviews section shows reviews from Google, which may load content from Google’s servers.

How we use your information

to reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote
to carry out the work, and provide warranty and after-sales service
to meet our legal and safety obligations, such as electrical compliance certificates
to keep business records

We don’t send marketing emails without your permission.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when it’s needed to do your job or when the law requires it, for example with:

equipment suppliers and manufacturers, for example to register warranties
your electricity distributor and government bodies, for connection approvals and compliance
people who help us process rebate and certificate paperwork
the services we use to run our business, such as our email, website hosting and spam protection

We never sell your personal information. Some of the services we use (such as Google and Cloudflare) may store information outside Australia.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it, including to meet warranty and legal record-keeping requirements.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first and we’ll do our best to fix it. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
